Joining Accenture Pune – My first job

Today i.e. 14 Aug, 2009 is one of the happiest moments of my life. Today I received joining email from Accenture near to 7 PM i.e. in evening. I was selected by accenture in may, 2008 during campus recruitment. Due to recession in global economy most of the companies such as TCS, Wipro etc delayed the joining of freshers by atleast 6-7 months. I completed my degree in april and since then i was waiting for this day to come. Though recession delayed the joining by 2 months but still it is too early as compared to the other companies. I hope my friends placed in other firms get their joining soon. I was delighted when my girlfriend called me and asked me to check my mail for the joining email. All guys from my batch selected in accenture will be joining Pune on 31 Aug. Finally, I got my first job. It indeed feels like first love. These days Pune is counted among the most affected cities by the Swine Flu. But I hardly care for any such thing, after all its my first job. I have been also placed in Fiserv but due to recession they delayed the joining to unknown period. But I am happy with accenture as it has higher brand value. I have already booked the tickets and arranged all the needed certificates. So I am all set for a bright career. Accenture is undoubtedly the splendid platform for freshers. Hopefully someday I achieve heights which I have dreamed of.
